Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality instruction that facilitates student learning.
  • Prepare course lessons and materials in a timely, thorough manner.
  • Communicate course outcomes, requirements, expectations, and assignments clearly with a syllabus approved by the division.
  • Provide students with regular quantitative and qualitative feedback.
  • Regularly update student grades on the faculty portal.
  • Record student attendance regularly on the faculty portal.
  • Submit midterm and final grades on time using the faculty portal.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with students, colleagues, and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Applicants who hold either a doctorate or master’s degree in the field of instruction are preferred. 
  • Applicants with a master’s degree in a different field but with at least eighteen graduate hours in the field of instruction may also be considered.
  • Applicants with a relevant bachelor of arts degree and extensive professional experience in the field of instruction may also be considered for certain fields of instruction.

Education Faculty

Education Faculty

The Division of Professional Studies seeks qualified applicants to fill a full-time faculty position in the field of education. In addition to teaching and advising duties, the faculty member chosen for this position will oversee program assessment & accreditation and will facilitate the expansion of education programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach up to nine hours of education courses per semester.
  • Advise up to twenty education majors.
  • Oversee education program assessment and accreditation.
  • Facilitate expansion of education programs.

Faculty Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction that facilitates student learning.
  • Prepare course lessons and materials in a timely, thorough manner.
  • Communicate course outcomes, requirements, expectations, and assignments clearly with a syllabus approved by the division.

Qualifications

  • Applicants who hold an accredited doctorate in education (i.e., educational foundations, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, etc.) are preferred. Applicants with an accredited master’s degree in education may also be considered.
  • Candidates with demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching and experience in academic advising are preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in program assessment, accreditation processes, and program development are preferred.

Graduate Program Administrative Assistant

The Graduate Program Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring excellence in all administrative matters, including but not limited to: correspondence, online platform management, academic services, financial record-keeping,  program assessment, marketing, and course proctoring. In this job, you will conduct the daily operations of the graduate program and serve as a personal assistant to the program director. 

You will get the opportunity to build relationships with our valued students and faculty, grow intellectually and spiritually as you engage with course materials, and make a lasting impact in churches and ministries around the globe through the students to whom you provide a God-centered graduate education.

Responsibilities

  • Correspondence—Manage all correspondence for the graduate program.

  • Academic Services—Provide academic services and advising for graduate students.
  • Assessment—Keep records and produce reports as required by the department, institution, and various accreditation organizations.

Qualifications
